LANCASTER, Pa. – Ryan O'Boyle (North Reading, Mass./Central Catholic), a freshman on the McDaniel wrestling team, has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Rookie of the Year.

O'Boyle finished second at 133 at the CC championship on Feb. 23 before also adding a runner-up showing at the inaugural NCAA Division III East Regional on Mar. 2 to earn a bid to the NCAA Division III championship, which begins on Friday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

O'Boyle enters the national championship at 25-6.

By virtue of his runner-up finish at the CC championship, O'Boyle also earned honorable mention all-conference honors.

Senior Joe Camlin (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill), who will be joining O'Boyle at the NCAA championship, earned first-team all-conference honors after winning the heavyweight bracket at the conference championship.
