Glotfelty named Scholar All-American

Junior earns NWCA honor for excellence on mat and in classroom

MANHEIM, Pa. – Brock Glotfelty (Grantsville, Md./Northern Garrett), a junior on the McDaniel wrestling team, has been named a Scholar All-American by the National Wrestling Coaches Association, announced recently.

Glotfelty was one of 147 Division III wrestlers to earn the honor, which goes to individuals who have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 and advanced to the NCAA championship.

Glotfety, an exercise science major with a 3.699 GPA, won his second straight Centennial Conference championship at heavyweight to advance to the NCAA tournament for the second year in a row.

Glotfelty finished the season with a 38-6 record and team-best 17 pins.
