Erin McDonnell

McDonnell enters her fifth season as an assistant on the Green Terror staff.

A three-year starter on the McDaniel lacrosse team, she was a key member of the defensive unit. Over her four years on the squad, she picked up more than 100 ground balls to rank in the top 15 in program history. She also ranks in the top 20 all-time with 41 caused turnovers and also won 32 draw controls.

As a captain in 2011, she earned the team’s most valuable defender award and was a first-team all-conference selection and second-team All-Metro region nod.

A teacher in the Carroll County Public Schools since her graduation, she has also worked numerous lacrosse camps and clinics and is a key part of organizing the Terror Trot charity run that is conducted annually by the women’s lacrosse team.

McDonnell graduated in 2011 with a degree in French and minor in elementary education. She is currently pursuing her master’s in curriculum and instruction with an administrative focus at McDaniel.
