WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its 2017 Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday, and three McDaniel student-athletes were among the honorees.

The individual honors come in addition to the Green Terror being honored for its success in the classroom. McDaniel was one of 143 Division III teams to earn the distinction of an Academic Squad with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.

Graduated seniors Allison Farrell (Towson, Md./Loch Raven) and Abby Phillips (New Freedom, Pa./North Harford [Md.]) as well as rising senior Olivia Geiger (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) were honored.

Farrell and Phillips graduated in May with degrees in exercise science. Geiger is a psychology major.

In total, student-athletes from 159 different institutions were honored. Students were nominated by their schools and have achieved at least junior status academically and a grade-point average of 3.5.
