BALTIMORE, Md. – Three members of the McDaniel women's lacrosse team have been named to the All-Metro Region team by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), released on Monday.
Entrot, a junior attacker, earned her second all-region nod after being tabbed first-team All-Centennial Conference (CC). She led the team with a single-season program-record 100 points, ranking second in both goals (61) and assists (39). Her point total currently leads the CC while her goal total currently ranks third. With 247 career points, she already ranks second all-time while her 176 career goals is third all-time. Starting all 20 games, she is second on the team with 64 draw controls while adding 29 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers.
Jacobs, a junior attacker, makes her first all-region appearance after an honorable mention All-CC nod. She led the team with 71 goals, a total which ranks second in the conference. She has also added nine assists to give her 80 points on the year, which ranks third on the team and fifth in the CC. She also has 28 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers.
McCadden, a senior defender, makes her first all-region appearance after a second-team all-conference selection, leading the defense. Starting all 20 games, she leads the team with 37 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers while adding 20 draw controls. Her 20 caused turnovers ranks sixth in the conference while her ground ball total ranks eighth.
The Green Terror finished the season 11-9 overall (5-4 CC), reaching the semifinals of both the CC and ECAC tournaments.
