Another Rybak bucket, however, sparked a 5-0 burst that gave the visitors a five-point lead.

Two Lanza free throws extended the advantage to as large as 25-16 with 2:53 remaining before Stephanie Fish (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial) scored in the final 10 seconds of the first half to make it a seven-point game at the break.

Wingerd drew the Green Terror within five, converting a putback on the opening possession of the second half but the Mules reeled off 10 straight points to take a 35-20 lead with 16:55 showing.

Five of Steph Perez's (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) eight points and six straight Brittney Davis (Laurel, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) points keyed a 16-5 counter that closed the deficit to four just 4:47 later.

A Zabrecky three-point play, however, quickly pushed the lead back to seven and McDaniel could get no closer than six the rest of the way.
