WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel has announced changes to its upcoming softball schedule due to the latest storm to hit the Mid-Atlantic Region and field conditions.
The games for the next week have been postponed. The Green Terror (2-0) was originally scheduled to open the home schedule against Mary Washington in a doubleheader on Saturday. McDaniel's doubleheader at Messiah, scheduled for next Wednesday, has also been postponed.
The Green Terror and Eagles will now play in Fredericksburg, Va., on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
The Green Terror and Falcons, instead of attempting to reschedule the doubleheader, will instead play one game during the teams trip to Clermont, Fla. McDaniel will take on Messiah to cap a now-tripleheader on Thursday, Mar. 20 at 8 p.m. at National Training Complex.
McDaniel returns to action when it opens the 11-game trip to the Dot Richardson Spring Games. The trip opens against Western New England on Sunday, Mar. 16 at 5 p.m. The Green Terror will also play Ramapo at 7 p.m.
