Three earn All-CC softball honors

Warrenfeltz named to first team

LANCASTER, Pa. – Three members of the McDaniel softball team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Thursday.

Erinne Warrenfeltz (Smithsburg, Md./Middletown) was named to the first team while Jordan Beans (Hanover, Pa./Hanover) and Beth Ann Fusco (Laurel, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) earned spots on the second team.

Warrenfeltz, a sophomore designated player, led the Green Terror (16-24, 5-11 CC) with a .385 batting average. She rapped out 45 hits, including team bests of 12 doubles and six home runs. She led the team with 37 RBIs and ranked second on the squad with 28 runs scored. In addition to her .641 slugging percentage, she drew 19 walks and was hit by five pitches for a .483 on-base percentage.

Beans, a sophomore outfielder, hit .287 from the leadoff spot. She ranked third on the team with 39 base hits, including eight doubles. She scored a team-high 32 runs while driving in 18. She drew 18 walks and was 14-for-16 in stolen-base attempts.

Fusco, a junior second baseman, hit .277 on the year with 28 hits, including a team-high three triples as well as two doubles and a home run. She drove in 18 runs and scored 15 times.
