September 30, 2017 Gibson’s win leads way to D3 title Gavin Gibson won the 34th Annual Greensboro XC Invitational to lead McDaniel to a first-place finish in the Division III section. The Green Terror finished with 45 points.

September 25, 2017 Gibson named Runner of the Week Gavin Gibson, a junior, has been named the Centennial Conference Runner of the Week for the week of Sept. 18-24.

September 23, 2017 Gibson finishes second Gavin Gibson finished second to lead McDaniel to a ninth-place finish at the Hornet Harrier. The Green Terror finished with 209 points and placed ninth overall and fourth in the non-Commonwealth division.

September 16, 2017 Gibson sweeps at home meet Gavin Gibson won both the 3,000 and 5,000 meter races to lead McDaniel at its own Green Terror Challenge. The Green Terror posted a perfect score to win the 3K race with 10 points and won the 5K with 13 points.

September 9, 2017 Gibson places 30th at Navy Gavin Gibson finished 30th at the Navy Invitational to lead McDaniel. The Green Terror ran incomplete at the invitational.

September 1, 2017 Gibson takes top spot to lead way in team win Gavin Gibson won the Towson Invitational to lead McDaniel to a victory. The Green Terror finished first at the meet with 26 points. A total of 20 runners competed at the 5,000-meter distance.
