Brian Leiter
Title: Assistant Coach

A 2009 graduate of Frostburg State University, Brian Leiter received national recognition for his performances on the track. In his junior year, Leiter became an All-American by placing 5th in the 800 meter race at the DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships. In his senior year, he added three more All-American honors by placing 4th in the nation in the mile for indoor and placing 6th outdoor in the 800 and 3rd in the 1500 meter.

He holds the Frostburg 800 meter and mile indoor records and the 800 and 1500 meter outdoor records. He also ran a leg for the Bobcats in the record breaking indoor Distance Medley Relay team.

Post-collegiately, Leiter has continued his running career. In 2010, he improved on his personal best in the 1500 meter race with a time of 3:44. He was a provisional qualifier for the USA Track and Field Championships in the event.
Leiter joined the coaching staff for Green Terror Cross Country in the fall of 2011.
