Naper finishes 57th to pace Green Terror to ninth-place finish

ELKRIDGE, Md. – CJ Naper (New Windsor, Md./South Carroll) finished 57th overall to lead McDaniel to a ninth-place finish at the 2010 Centennial Conference men's cross country championship hosted by Johns Hopkins at Belmont Conference Center on Saturday.

Naper finished the 8,000-meter course in a time of 27:29 as the top Green Terror finisher. As a team, McDaniel had 279 points to finish ninth. Haverford reclaimed the team title with 23 points. Dickinson was second with 39 points.

Ron Shriver (Westminster, Md./Francis Scott Key) was the only other Green Terror runner to break 30 minutes, crossing 67th with a time of 28:02.

McDaniel returns to action at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional championship on Nov. 13.
