McDaniel defeats Shepherd

WESTMINSTER, Md. – Adrian Pettaway (Forestville, Md./Suitland) won his fifth singles match 8-1 to lead McDaniel to a 5-4 victory over Shepherd in non-conference men’s tennis action on Thursday.

            Competing singles first and as pro-sets to ensure the match would finish before darkness, the Green Terror (4-7) won five of the six matches to secure the match before doubles began.
            Jesse Humeas was the lone player to win at singles for the Rams (1-7), who swept doubles.
            McDaniel returns to action at Haverford on Saturday. Match time is 12 p.m.
