WESTMINSTER, Md. – Franklin & Marshall won the first eight events of the night to take a 61-24 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's swimming action on Friday.
Bryan Nuckles (Suffolk, Va./Nansemond-Suffolk Academy) earned the lone individual win for the Green Terror (1-7, 0-5 CC) with a time of 1:05.78 in the 100 breaststroke.
Dennis Chen won twice for the Diplomats (3-2, 3-0 CC), taking the 100 free (47.97) and 200 free (1:46.70).
James Eu (Reston, Va./Hargrave Military Academy), Jason Harder (Philadelphia, Pa./Pennington), Stephen Hoyt (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury) and Patrick Rogers (Landisville, Pa./Hempfield) added a victory in the 200 freestyle relay, capping the meet with a time of 1:36.59
Jono Leafblad (Garnee, Ill./Warren Twp.) added a second-place finish, finishing the 500 free in a time of 5:36.31.
Eliot Scymanski was the only other double winner for Franklin & Marshall. He teamed with Steven Latka, Ryan Anella and Paul Edwards to open the night with a win in the 200 medley relay (1:44.02) before touching first in the 500 freestyle (5:18.90).
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Elizabethtown on Wendesday. Meet time is 6 p.m.
