Rogers nabs two wins
CARLISLE, Pa. – Dickinson won the first eight events of the day to defeat McDaniel 125-68 in Centennial Conference (CC) men's swimming action on Saturday.
Patrick Rogers (Landisville, Pa./Hempfield) led the Green Terror (1-6, 0-4 CC) with two wins on the day, including touching first in the 500 freestyle.
Jason Adams won three times to pace the Red Devils (8-0, 2-0 CC), who remained undefeated in the dual-meet season.
Adams took individual wins in the 200 IM (2:03.30) and 100 freestyle (48.80) and led off the 200 medley relay, teaming with Ed Barnard, Cris Miranda and Zach Yocum to win in a time of 1:39.59.
Rogers won the 500 freestyle in a time of 5:12.43 and was part of the 200 free relay, which was victorious in a time of 1:38.69. He was also second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:52.45.
James Eu (Reston, Va./Hargrave Military Academy) added a win in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:06.53.
Bryan Nuckles (Suffolk, Va./Nansemond-Suffolk Academy) finished second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.41 seconds while Jono Leafblad (Garnee, Ill./Warren Twp.) was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.06) behind his teammate.
Miranda added a second win for Dickinson, touching first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 55.07.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Franklin & Marshall on Friday. Meet time is 6 p.m.
