WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel scored three first-half goals to key a 5-0 win over Juniata in non-conference men's soccer action on Thursday.
Randall Hilleary (Bonney Lake, Wash./Skyline) led the Green Terror (9-6-2) with a pair of goals.
Jarrod Gibson had the best look for the Eagles (1-13-4), firing a shot in the 87th minute that Aaron Bilbie (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock) dove to his left to stop and preserve the shutout.
Dominic Byerly (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) knocked home a Pat Palin (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron) headed pass in front of the goal off a corner for a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute.
Hilleary finished a Cam Gebhart (Red Lion, Pa./Red Lion Area) free kick from the right side in the 23rd minute for a 2-0 lead.
Another Hilleary marker just shy of six minutes later stretched the lead to 3-0.
Carlos Valdez (Silver Spring, Md./Blake) blasted home a shot from the top of the box for a 4-0 lead in the 58th minute before Khaled Abuhantash (Forest Hill, Md./North Harford) scored his first goal in the 78th minute.
McDaniel finished with a 16-5 advantage in shots and 7-0 advantage in corner kicks.
The Green Terror will await ECAC selections on Monday to see if its season will continue.
