Over makes 12 saves

BALTIMORE, Md. – Johns Hopkins scored a goal in each half to tally a 2-0 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's soccer action on Wednesday.

Nick Over (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) led the Green Terror (8-4-2, 2-4-1 CC) with 12 saves. It was a season-high total for the reigning CC Defensive Player of the Week.

RJ Moore led the Blue Jays (12-1-2, 5-0-2 CC) with a goal and an assist.

Moore netted Johns Hopkins' first-half tally, finding the bottom-left corner on a shot from outside the box and finishing from Jonah Muniz in the 16th minute.

Moore then found Drew Collins, who finished a short pass on a corner from 25 yards out to double the advantage in 55th minute.

The Blue Jays finished with a 28-5 advantage in shots and 6-3 edge in corner kicks.

The Green Terror returns to action at home against Muhlenberg on Saturday. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
