Brockbank scores in the second half

WESTMINSTER, Md. – Gettysburg built a 3-0 lead en route to a 5-1 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's soccer action on Saturday.

Greysen Brockbank (Newville, Pa./Big Spring) led the Green Terror (5-9-3, 0-7-2 CC) with a goal in the 60th minute.

Patrick Santini recorded a hat trick for the Bullets (9-4-3, 4-3-2 CC), who finished with a 19-8 advantage in shots.

Precious Ozoh staked Gettysburg to a 1-0 lead off a corner kick just 4:49 into the game.

Henry Smith converted a penalty kick 19 minutes later after a handball was called in the box on a shot ripped from the top of the box.

Just 1:49 into the second half, Santini started his hat trick, scoring on a shot from the top of the box.

Brockbank responded nearly 13 minutes with a similar goal before Santini capped his hat trick with goals in the 66th and 82nd minutes.

Nick Over (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) made nine saves in goal for McDaniel.
