CARLISLE, Pa. - Dickinson built a 40-19 halftime advantage before holding on to defeat McDaniel 75-58 in Centennial Conference (CC) men's basketball action on Thursday.

Gerry Wixted led the Red Devils (15-5, 10-3 CC) with 19 points and nine rebounds.

Behind baskets from three different players, Dickinson built a 7-0 lead through the game's first 2:03.

A Nic Martin (Hagerstown, Md./St. Maria Goretti) hit a jumper just over two minutes later to close the deficit to 10-4 before the Red Devils put together a 26-11 run over the next nine minutes to built a 36-15 advantage en route to a 40-19 halftime lead.

Trailing 46-25, Perry and Martin each canned triples around a Wixted layup to spark a span in which the Green Terror put together a 27-15 stretch to close within single digits.
