    Andrew Merlo led three players in double figures for the Green Terror with 16 points. Albirght closed the first half on a 22-10 run to take a 33-20 advantage into the locker room before holding on for a 67-55 victory over McDaniel in the quarterfinals of the 2013 ECAC South tournament.

    McDaniel will travel to Albright for the first round of the 2013 ECAC South men’s basketball tournament on Wednesday. Game time is 7 p.m. The Green Terror earned the No. 8 seed and will take on the top-seeded Lions in the quarterfinals of the eight-team tournament. McDaniel is making its first-ever ECAC appearance.

    Tyler Rudd netted 20 points in the his final regular-season game for the Green Terror. McDaniel scored nine straight points to spark a 16-3 first-half burst that keyed a 75-50 victory over Gettysburg.

    McDaniel College has announced its Dean’s List from the Fall 2012 semester and 112 Green Terror student-athletes, including 36 first-semester students, qualified for the honors.

    February 13, 2013
    Andrew Merlo netted his fourth 20-point game of the season for the Green Terror with seven of his 21 points coming in overtime. After a Swarthmore 3-pointer at the buzzer forced overtime, McDaniel scored the first seven points of the extra session and never looked back in a 76-71 win.

    Tyler Rudd, playing in his final home game for the Green Terror, recorded his fifth double-double of the year with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Muhlenberg whittled away at a 16-point deficit before taking the lead with 1:43 to play and downing McDaniel, 83-82.

    Evan Pupelis led the Green Terror with a season high-tying 17 points, including hitting all seven of his free-throw attempts. He also pulled down nine rebounds and dished out a career-high five assists. Swarthmore scored five straight points late in overtime on its way to a 75-71 victory over McDaniel.

    Andrew Merlo recorded his second 20-point outing of the season to lead the Green Terror with 25 points. Phillip Perry chipped in a career-best 18 points. McDaniel hit its first six 3-pointers of the second half to build a 17-point lead on its way to a 90-76 victory over Ursinus.

    Andrew Merlo capped his 17-point night for the Green Terror with five points during the game-clinching burst. After seeing Haverford rally from a 10-point deficit to take the lead, McDaniel responded with a 9-0 run to regain an eight-point lead en route to a 61-54 victory.

    The game featured 14 ties and 15 lead changes. It was the final of those 15 lead changes – a Nic Martin driving layup with 41.7 seconds left that lifted McDaniel to its third straight victory, defeating Elizabethtown, 70-68.
