WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel running back Joe Rollins (Temple Hills, Md./Surrattsville) recently attended a combine for the Canadian Football League (CFL).

The National Scouting Combine Collegiate Showcase event was presented by Beyond Sports Network in Chantilly, Va., on Feb. 26-27.

The Combine featured top athletes from the FBS, FCS, Division II, Division III, and NAIA from the Draft Class of 2014 as well as successful athletes from previous draft classes. Athletes performed in combine drills, position drills, and 1-on-1's against other successful former collegiate athletes. Athletes had the exclusive opportunity to perform in front of Canadian Football League executives and scouts as well as have their combine results and video sent to professional teams in the NFL, AFL, and other Indoor Professional Football Leagues. Scouts from all nine CFL teams were in attendance.

Rollins has also been invited to an NFL Regional Combine in Owings Mills, Md., on Mar. 30 and will have a private combine/workout with the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the CFL.
