BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Moravian scored 14 points in the final 1:06 of the first half to break a 7-all deadlock and defeat McDaniel 21-7 in the Centennial Conference (CC) opener for both teams on Saturday.

Knotted at 7-all, Moravian took advantage of a short field and marched 42 yards in seven plays. C.J. Billera capped the drive with a seven-yard run but a missed conversion kept it a 13-7 game with 1:05 on the clock.
After a Luke Trexler interception, the Greyhounds drove 46 yards in just three plays capped by a Will McLaughlin 44-yard reception. A successful two-point conversion made it a 21-7 lead with seven seconds on the clock.
After an interception on the goal line, Moravian capped a five-play, 93-yard with a 76-yard burst up the middle by Tegan to take a 7-0 lead with 6:28 on the first-quarter clock.
Taking over at its own 12 with 12:39 on the second-quarter clock, McDaniel ate up 10 minutes, 7 seconds of game clock to march 88 yards in 18 plays. Emerson capped the drive with an 18-yard run for his first collegiate rushing touchdown.
Around a 60-minute weather delay in the second half, neither team could find the end zone to keep it a 14-point game.
Mike Cousar (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) led the defense with 14 tackles, including a sack.
