The Bears (4-3, 4-1 CC) finished with 482 yards of total offense and limited the Green Terror (4-3, 2-3 CC) to a season-low 25 yards rushing and 263 yards of total offense in front of a rain-soaked Homecoming crowd.

Ursinus took the opening kickoff a put together a methodical 10-play drive that consumed 5:43 before Conrad capped the march with the first of his three touchdown runs. A bad snap on the PAT kept it a 6-0 lead.

The Bears started their next drive at its own 48. Three plays layer, Justin Decristofaro found Al Desiderio, who caught five passes for 154 yards, with a 49-yard touchdown strike for a 13-0 lead with 5:43 to play in the first period.

After an Albert Leech (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) sack on fourth down gave the Green Terror the ball at its own 41 with 51 seconds left in the quarter, T.J. Develin (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown Area) rushed for seven yards but a late hit gave McDaniel a first down at the Ursinus 37.

Three plays after a 28-yard catch-and-run, Tom Massucci (Tabernacle, N.J./Seneca) found Cahill on a comeback route and the senior receiver scampered to the end zone as the first quarter clock expired.

Desiderio, however, ran back the ensuing kickoff 77 yards to answer the score and push the lead to 20-7.

A 44-yard Decristofaro-to-Desiderio pass play keyed a 79-yard drive that stretched the lead to 37-7 with 9:34 to play in the first half.

Conrad capped that drive with an 11-yard run and the next Ursinus march with a four-yard run for a 34-7 halftime lead.
