CARLISLE, Pa. – McDaniel plated a ninth-inning run to top Dickinson 1-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) baseball action on Tuesday.

Antonio Rosanova (Laurel, Md./DeMatha) led the Green Terror (7-10, 1-6 CC) with a hit and two stolen bases. His two steals were the 58th and 59th of his career, setting a new program record in that category. Robbie Mays (Parkton, Md./Hereford) led the way on the mound, fanning eight and allowing just four hits in eight innings for the win.

Billy O'Neil matched Mays to lead the Red Devils (6-15 3-4 CC) in a pitchers' duel, fanning four and allowing just seven hits.

After the two pitchers posted dueling shutouts through eight innings, Rosanova led off the ninth with a single. After a fielder's choice and DJ Biscoe (Millersville, Md./Old Mill) single, Ryan Downes (Hagerstown, Md./St. Maria Goretti) singled home Kasey Nelson (St. Pete's Beach, Fla./St. Michaels [Md.]) for the game's lone run.

Jordan Rhodes (Fawn Grove, Pa./McDonogh [Md.]) threw a 1-2-3 bottom of the ninth for his first save of the year.

McDaniel and Dickinson conclude the home-and-home series in Westminster on Friday. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
