AUBURNDALE, Fla. – McDaniel had five multiple-run innings and got solid pitching in a doubleheader sweep of Becker at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational in baseball action on Wednesday.

The Green Terror (6-3) won the opener 8-2 behind an 11-strikeout performance from Jordan Rhodes (Fawn Grove, Pa./McDonogh [Md.]) before shutting out the Hawks (3-7) with a 5-0 win in game two.

DJ Biscoe (Millersville, Md./Old Mill) led the McDaniel offense with four hits and two RBIs.

Tim Griest (Lititz, Pa./Wawrick) led off the second inning with a single to center before taking second on a wild pitch.

After a groundout, Tom Daly (Haddon Heights, N.J./Haddon Heights) poked a single down the line for a 1-0 lead.

Daly then scored on a Colin Franke (Highland Mills, N.Y./Cornwall Central) single one batter later.

Brett Anderson (Wilmington, Del./Tower Hill led off game two with a single before a throwing error and Biscoe RBI groundout accounted for the game's first run.

Franke singled with one out in the fourth before Brustad reached on a bunt single. After a hit batter loaded the bases, Biscoe singled home Franke and Rosanova drew a walk to force in Brustad for a 3-0 lead.
